Elstead Taulbee 15-Light Chandelier

Scale is everything with a statement chandelier — get it wrong and even a beautiful fitting looks awkward. The Elstead Taulbee is a large-format, 15-light piece designed specifically for rooms that can carry it: think double-height entryways, generous dining halls, or grand living spaces with ceiling heights to match.

For this type of fixture, the key specification decisions are drop height and ceiling load. The Taulbee ships with an adjustable chain suspension system, giving you a minimum drop of 1,079mm and a maximum of 2,940mm — so the installed height can be dialled in to suit your ceiling and table or floor clearance. At 1,120mm in diameter and 985mm in body height, this is a genuinely large fitting. Make sure the structural fixing point is rated accordingly.

The Elstead Taulbee Chandelier is a two-tiered wagon-wheel design, with six candle sockets on the upper ring and nine on the lower. The outer faces of both rings are wrapped in a Weathered Grey Wood veneer with a natural grain texture, while the metal framework, twisted support rods, and candle sleeves are finished in a matte Weathered Zinc. Inside each ring, intricate symmetrical metal scrollwork adds visual depth — a refined contrast between rustic material and ornate craft. The result is what the brand calls a Lodge-inspired aesthetic: transitional in character, at home in both traditional and relaxed contemporary interiors.

The design draws on a long tradition of European wrought-iron chandelier making, updated with natural material accents that give it a current, considered feel. No finish or size variants are listed for this product — it is offered as a single, resolved specification.

The Taulbee is an IP20-rated interior fitting, suitable for dry locations only. It is a lamped fixture using 15 flame-shaped candle bulbs (not included); check your preferred lamp type for compatibility with any dimmer you plan to use, as candle LED lamps vary in dimming performance. A ceiling canopy and chain are included for suspension. Ensure your ceiling rose or structural backplate can support the weight of this fixture before installation — if in doubt, your installer will advise.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work through specification decisions like these so you don't have to piece it together alone. Whether it's confirming drop heights against your ceiling plans, coordinating delivery timing, or cross-checking lamp and dimmer compatibility, we help translate a great product choice into a confident, completed installation.
