A distinctive sunburst and prairie geometric pattern — with radiating vertical strips and nested rectangular motifs — gives the shade its architectural character. The base is a slender, square-profile tapered pedestal on a tiered square plinth, finished in a dark matte oil-rubbed bronze or dark antique brass tone, echoing the linear geometry of the shade above it.

Two independent internal light sockets are controlled by separate pull chains with spherical decorative fobs — a practical detail that allows you to adjust the light output in two stages, useful for creating different moods from the same lamp.
