Elstead Rosecliffe 3-Light Pendant

Choosing a decorative pendant that genuinely reads as artisanal — rather than just referencing craftsmanship in its marketing — is harder than it sounds. Mass-produced interpretations of the Tiffany style are everywhere, which makes it all too easy to specify something that looks the part in a product image but disappoints in the room.

The original Tiffany method relies on the copper foil technique: each individual piece of glass is wrapped at its edge in copper tape, then soldered together piece by piece to form the finished shade. The result is a genuinely mosaic-like construction, not a printed or moulded approximation. Light passes through the glass rather than bouncing off a surface, which is what gives authentic Tiffany shades their characteristic warmth and ambience.

The Elstead Rosecliffe 3-Light Pendant brings that same hand-assembled process to a generously scaled bonnet-shaped shade. Warm amber and yellow rectangular glass panels fill the upper section in a grid arrangement, while a wide decorative band around the lower portion carries red and pink rose floral motifs with green leaf detail. The bottom rim follows the scalloped contour of the floral pattern rather than cutting it off — a detail that separates considered craftsmanship from a shortcut. All metal hardware, including the suspension chain, central rod, and canopy, is finished in Imperial Bronze, a dark warm tone that grounds the piece without competing with the glass.

Three individual pull-chain switches hang from the centre of the assembly, each controlling one of the internal lamp sockets independently. It is a genuinely uncommon feature in pendant lighting and one that adds practical flexibility — particularly useful where a dedicated dimmer switch is not part of the installation plan.

Lamp type and driver requirements are not included in the supplied specification data; we recommend confirming lamp compatibility directly with us before ordering to ensure the right light output and colour temperature for your space. The fixture is suspended via a link chain from a ceiling canopy, making installation straightforward in most residential settings.

At Lightsource Mallorca, our role is to make sure the right product lands in the right project — not just one that photographs well. The Rosecliffe is part of a curated selection of Elstead pieces chosen for their build quality and specification credibility. We can advise on lamp choice, placement, and any project coordination needed to keep things moving.
