Elstead Provence Articulated Desk Lamp

Task lighting sounds straightforward until you realise the lamp you chose looks great on the desk but throws light in exactly the wrong direction the moment you actually sit down to work. Directional flexibility matters — and so does a base that stays put when the arm is fully extended.

The best articulated desk lamps solve this with multiple pivot points across the arm, allowing independent adjustment of height, reach, and shade angle. A weighted, stable base anchors the whole assembly so repositioning the head does not mean repositioning everything else. IP20 rated, the Provence is suited to standard indoor environments away from moisture zones — exactly the kind of task or reading context it is designed for.

The Elstead Provence Articulated Desk Lamp delivers on all of this. A three-pivot arm — jointed at the base, mid-arm, and head — gives genuinely comprehensive positional control, while a conical shade with a light-reflective interior directs output efficiently onto the task surface. The slender frame keeps the profile clean without sacrificing reach or rigidity.

The design pairs a modern high-gloss aesthetic with industrial-style knuckle joints — a combination that reads as considered rather than decorative. Three finish combinations are available: White with Polished Nickel, Dark Grey with Aged Brass, and Black with Polished Brass, each offering a distinct character while sharing the same refined structural form.

The Provence carries an IP20 rating, appropriate for desk and table use in dry interior spaces. Please confirm lamp type, driver requirements, and any dimming compatibility with us before ordering, as these details may vary by variant and we want your installation to go smoothly first time.
