Elstead Payne 2 Light Bathroom Flush Ceiling Light

Bathroom ceiling lighting is often an afterthought — and that's when you end up with harsh glare, mismatched fittings, or a light that looks fine on screen but feels clinical in person. Getting overhead light right in a bathroom means thinking about diffusion, height constraints, and a fitting that holds up in a damp environment.

For low or standard ceiling heights, a flush mount is the practical answer. It sits close to the ceiling surface, keeping clearance where you need it. A frosted diffuser — whether glass or acrylic — is the key to softening the source: it spreads light across the room rather than directing it in a way that creates hotspots or shadows.

The Elstead Payne 2 Light Bathroom Flush Ceiling Light delivers exactly that. A drum-shaped shade in translucent frosted material, framed by polished chrome bands at the top and bottom, produces even ambient light without glare. The two-lamp capacity gives you adequate lumen output without needing a deep or oversized fitting — a practical balance for everyday bathroom use.

The design is clean and transitional — the classic drum silhouette and polished chrome finish work across contemporary and more traditional bathroom schemes without competing with other elements. The bi-tonal combination of bright chrome and matte white diffuser keeps the fitting grounded and unfussy.

Lamp type and IP rating are not listed in the current specification data — we recommend confirming these details with us before ordering, particularly if the fitting is intended for a Zone 2 location (within 0.6 metres of a shower or bath). We'll make sure you have the right information before anything is committed to.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work through these details so you don't have to mid-project. Whether you're specifying a single bathroom or coordinating across multiple rooms, we help match the right fitting to the right location — with lead times checked and delivery planned. Elstead's UK heritage means consistent quality across a broad range; the Payne is a dependable, well-resolved choice for a bathroom overhead that simply works.
