For ceiling-mounted decorative fittings, two things matter most: drop height and visual scale. A chandelier needs to feel proportionate to the room, deliver the right ambient warmth, and — crucially — leave enough clearance. The ability to convert to semi-flush mounting removes a significant variable, giving you flexibility at install stage rather than a headache after delivery.

The Elstead Minster Chandelier is designed with exactly these constraints in mind. Part of Elstead's Minster range — made in England — it is built specifically for lower ceiling heights, with a compact three-light form that uses curved arms, cream candle sleeves, and the range's signature looped metal drape detailing to deliver genuine decorative character without demanding generous ceiling clearance. Optional glass shades (models GS81 and GS54) allow you to adapt the look further if needed.

The design balances matte black metalwork against cream candle sleeves, with clear flame-tip bulbs providing classic visible-filament ambience. The contrast gives the fitting a traditional country-house quality without feeling heavy. It is available in three finishes: Ivory/Gold, Black/Gold, and Black — each shifting the tone of the piece from warmer and ornate to crisper and more graphic.

The Minster Chandelier is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces. It is suspended via a linked metal chain, allowing hanging height to be adjusted by removing or adding links at installation. The fitting accepts optional glass shades from the Minster range, and some ceiling models within the range offer conversion to semi-flush mounting for the tightest ceiling situations. Lamp type and driver requirements should be confirmed at specification stage — this fitting is not supplied with lamps included.
