The Elstead Lemuria Globe Pendant, designed by Karyl Pierce Paxton, answers both challenges. A spherical open-cage frame in a textured Distressed Gold finish carries a classical Grecian key meander motif cut into its central horizontal band — a transitional design that sits comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors. The internal three-socket candelabra cluster is centred within the globe, ensuring balanced ambient light output in all directions while the cage casts decorative shadow patterns across surrounding surfaces. The result is warmth and atmosphere without uniformity.

The Distressed Gold finish has a mottled, artisanal quality that gives the piece an antique presence — noticeably tactile and irregular in a way that mass-produced finishes rarely achieve. A small decorative finial completes the base of the cage. As this is the only finish option for this range, specification is straightforward.

The Lemuria pendant is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior environments. It is designed for retrofit LED bulbs with candelabra (small Edison screw) bases — no integrated LED or driver is required, giving you full flexibility over colour temperature and brightness output. The fitting comes with adjustable height rods for pendant installation and can alternatively be mounted as a semi-flush ceiling fitting where headroom is limited. No lamps are included, so bulb selection can be tailored to the project.
