The Elstead Fragment Pendant is designed by Paul Gruer, whose starting point was the French Market in New Orleans — a place defined by layered history, found objects, and the beauty of imperfection. Each shade is hand-painted with gold leaf and finished with a dark glaze that creates intentional cracking, streaking, and patina. A cast-textured cross ornament sits at the junction of the suspension rod and the top of the drum shade, acting as both a structural accent and a signature design detail. The interior is finished in smooth white to optimise light reflection downward.

The fixture is available in a gold leaf finish, with the antique tonal palette ranging across warm gold and brass with dark brown glazed accents. With only two variants in the range, each piece retains a strong sense of individuality — this is not a fitting that disappears into a scheme.

The Fragment is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces such as living rooms, dining areas, entrance halls, and boutique hospitality environments. Lamp and driver details should be confirmed at point of specification; the internal socket assembly accommodates a single centred light source.
