The lantern head features a four-sided tapered body with a pyramid roof, topped with a pointed finial, and each face is glazed with textured, hammered-style glass divided by traditional window bars — softening the light source while casting warm, ambient light across the wall and ground below.

The design balances geometric rigidity in the lantern head with ornate curves in the wall-mounting bracket — a scroll-detailed plate from which a horizontal arm extends to carry the fitting. A decorative rod drops from the base of the lantern, completing the classic silhouette. The result is a fitting that reads as considered and characterful rather than simply period-nostalgic.

The Canterbury is hardwired to the wall surface via the back plate.
