Elstead Armand Chandelier

Choosing a chandelier for a central living space carries real risk — get the scale, style, or light quality wrong and it defines the room for the wrong reasons. For transitional or modern-classic interiors, finding a fixture that bridges industrial structure with decorative refinement is where many projects stall.

In a chandelier, ambient light distribution and visual balance matter as much as aesthetics. A five-arm configuration delivers 360-degree spread across a room, while the choice of candelabra-style sources and clear glass shades determines how much of that warmth reaches the space and how the fixture reads when unlit as a sculptural object.

The Elstead Armand Chandelier answers this brief directly. Elstead is a well-established UK lighting manufacturer with a long track record in decorative specification. The Armand features five angularly curved arms — each with distinct geometric bends rather than smooth arcs — giving it a structured, architectural silhouette that reads as considered rather than ornate. Five candelabra-style lamps sit within tapered clear glass bell shades, and decorative clear glass spheres at each joint and at the base of the central column add a jewellery-like finish detail that elevates the piece without overstatement.

The dual-tone finish pairs matte black on the central hub and sockets with an aged brass treatment on the arms and decorative elements — a combination that sits naturally in transitional interiors where warmth and edge coexist. The fixture is available in an Aged Brass & Black finish. The suspension chain connects to a central support rod, with adjustable chain length to accommodate varying ceiling heights.

The Armand is a lamped chandelier using candelabra (E14) style bulbs — lamp type and inclusion should be confirmed at point of specification. Chain suspension allows installation height to be set on site. No driver or transformer is required. The product carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty. IP rating data is not published, so this fixture should be treated as suitable for dry interior locations only.
