Elstead Arabella Duo-Mount Pendant

One of the most common mistakes with decorative pendants is choosing a fitting that simply won't work in the space — too long for a low ceiling, too harsh in its light output, or visually flat once installed. The Arabella range is designed to sidestep all three of those problems.

For pendant lighting, three things matter most beyond aesthetics: mounting flexibility, light quality, and retrofit compatibility. A fitting that locks you into one ceiling height or one lamp type quickly becomes a liability on site. Duo-mount pendants solve this by offering both a hanging and a semi-flush configuration from a single product — shortening the rod stem where ceiling height demands it.

The Elstead Arabella Duo-Mount Pendant is a large drum-format ceiling light finished in a distinctive distressed gold metalwork cage. The intricate laser-cut lattice — worked in a repeating quatrefoil and Moroccan-inspired geometric pattern — wraps a cream linen inner fabric shade, visible through the cutouts and softened further by a flat glass diffuser at the base. The result is layered, warm ambience rather than harsh downward illumination. Rated IP20, this fitting is suited to dry interior locations.

The design sits comfortably across transitional, eclectic, and more classically influenced interiors. The distressed gold finish carries a textured, hand-applied quality that reads as considered rather than overtly ornate. No variant options are currently listed, so speak to us if you need guidance on pairing within the wider Arabella range — which also includes half-moon wall sconces suited to corridors and compact spaces.

The Arabella pendant is designed for retrofit LED lamps, giving you control over colour temperature and output without being locked into integrated modules. The duo-mount mechanism allows the rod stem to be shortened at installation, making it a practical choice where ceiling heights are tighter than ideal. The fitting is rated IP20, confirming suitability for dry interior zones only. Lamp type and driver requirements should be confirmed at the point of specification — contact us and we'll clarify what works.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work through the specification detail so you don't have to discover problems on install day. Whether you're sourcing the Arabella as a single statement piece or coordinating it across a larger scheme, we can advise on lamp compatibility, lead times, and how it sits within your broader lighting plan — the right product, properly specified, delivered without the guesswork.
