Elstead Aleeka Chandelier

Choosing a statement chandelier for a principal living space or dining area carries real design risk — get the scale, profile, or finish wrong and it dominates the room for the wrong reasons. A piece that looks striking in isolation needs to read well from multiple angles and hold its visual weight without overwhelming the space around it.

For ceiling-hung decorative fixtures, the key decisions centre on form, finish, and light quality. The way a chandelier distributes light — whether it creates a warm ambient glow or exposes harsh point sources — has a direct impact on the atmosphere of the room. Frosted diffusers are one of the most effective ways to soften output and eliminate glare, creating a diffused, even illumination rather than hot spots.

The Elstead Aleeka Chandelier is a three-light pendant fixture from Elstead's Aleeka collection, designed for fixed ceiling installation in interior spaces rated IP20. Three concentric horizontal rings are arranged at staggered heights around a slim cylindrical centre column, with oval frosted globe diffusers mounted on each ring to produce the visual effect of floating, weightless forms. The celestial-inspired orbital geometry creates a dynamic multi-dimensional profile that reads well from multiple viewing angles.

The Classic Pewter finish — a smooth, brushed contemporary tone — gives the Aleeka a soft, design-forward presence that works across a range of interior styles, from pared-back Scandi to warm Mediterranean. The minimalist metal profiles and clean construction keep the silhouette light and architectural without sacrificing presence.

The Aleeka is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior rooms only — principal living spaces, dining rooms, entrance halls, and bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or areas exposed to moisture. Suspension is via a rigid vertical downrod from a ceiling mounting point. As with all Elstead fixtures, confirm driver and lamp requirements with your supplier prior to installation, and ensure your ceiling structure is adequate for the fitting's weight and fixing points.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with brands like Elstead precisely because their product range bridges design intent and real-world specification. The Aleeka is a well-considered choice for interior projects where ambient warmth and visual presence both matter — and where getting the specification right from the outset saves time and costly repositioning later. We're here to help you confirm suitability, check compatibility, and coordinate delivery around your project timeline.
