The signature SIMETECH® material — a proprietary finish that allows complex, tensioned geometries — gives the shade its characteristic tautness, while remaining translucent enough to emit soft, even ambient light without visible hotspots.

The Kite's form is immediately distinctive: four pointed corners and concave sides rise to a central peak, creating an interplay of light and shadow across the surface. The off-white, cream-toned finish takes on a warm, luminous quality when lit, filling the room with a cheerful, diffused ambience. The range is available in multiple sizes, making it possible to create original compositions — grouping different sizes together as you might see kites across an open sky.

The Kite is designed for surface mounting to a flat ceiling. It features an integrated LED light source behind the SIMETECH® shade.
