The A-Emotional Light Blum is a ceiling pendant designed by Spanish designer Arturo Álvarez, produced by A-Emotional Light — a studio built around handcrafted, material-led design. Álvarez wraps fine steel thread repeatedly around itself to form individual spheres, which are then joined into an irregular, cloud-like volume. The result is a piece that is simultaneously structural and ethereal — dense enough to anchor a room, yet visually weightless.

Finished in a uniform matte white, the Blum appears soft and organic despite being formed entirely from steel thread. The irregular, non-geometric arrangement of the joined spheres gives every piece a subtly hand-crafted character. The fixture is suspended by a single slim ceiling cable, allowing the volume to read as floating.
