Painted stainless steel mesh holds its form through tension rather than rigid construction — the shape is locked by the overlapping and joining of vertices, not by a mould. The result is a volume that reads as soft and fluid but carries genuine structural integrity. Light diffuses through the fine perforations, casting a play of shadow and warmth across surrounding surfaces.

The A-Emotional Light Ballet Pendant is a ceiling-suspension pendant designed by Héctor Serrano and produced by Spanish studio A-Emotional Light. Each piece within the Ballet collection — Plié, Relevé, and Elancé — takes its name and form from a classical dance movement, and each reads differently depending on the viewing angle. The shade is tapered and asymmetrical, wider at the top with a folded-over rim, narrowing toward a rounded base, and suspended from a single slim cable. The internal light source diffuses through the mesh, animating the folds and contours of the material.

The collection is available in four colourways — White, Beige, Grey, and Taupe — allowing it to work across a wide range of interior palettes, from warm Mediterranean neutrals to cooler contemporary schemes. The three pendants can be specified individually or grouped as a composition to represent the full sequence of movements, creating a genuinely spectacular hanging installation.
