The Visual Comfort Vedra Table Lamp is a decorative table lamp designed by AERIN (Aerin Lauder) for Visual Comfort. Inspired by mid-century French ceramics, its sculpted multi-orb base features three tiers of raised hemispherical forms in reactive-glazed ceramic or plaster, finished with a fine crackle texture that gives each piece a subtly artisanal character. Hardware details — the neck and finial — are finished in brass, grounding the piece in a warm, considered palette.

The Vedra is available in two reactive glaze finishes: Bone Craquelure and Polar Blue Crackle. Because the glaze is reactive, subtle variation in colour and texture is inherent to the process — no two lamps are identical, which is part of the appeal. The tall, slightly tapered drum shade is proportioned in the mid-century French style, giving the lamp a commanding but balanced presence. At 67.3cm tall with a 41.9cm width, it reads confidently on a console, side table, or desk.

The lamp uses an E27 keyless socket with an integrated line switch — no separate wall switch required for basic on/off control. Shade dimensions are 39.4cm x 41.9cm x 35.6cm. The lamp weighs 6.4kg, so it has a solid, grounded feel on the surface. No driver or transformer is required; it is a standard lamped fitting. Bulb not included — an E27 LED with a warm colour temperature (2700K is a good starting point for this style) is recommended. IP20 Class II rated: dry interior use only.
