The opaque matte black exterior of each shade focuses light downward, while the brushed brass frame, arms, and downrod create a warm, reflective counterpoint. The fixture is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior environments.

The design draws from a mid-century modern vocabulary — thin cylindrical tubing, balanced asymmetry, and a sculptural spindly framework that reads as lightweight despite the fixture's large footprint. The juxtaposition of brushed brass and matte black is deliberately high-contrast, giving the piece architectural presence without visual bulk. Signoret fixtures are hand-carved from wax; as the wax burns away, the metal takes its final form — a lost-wax process that gives each piece the character of bespoke work.
