The fixture is available in three body finishes — Polished Nickel, Bronze, and Antique-Burnished Brass — with shade options including Clear Glass, White Glass, Polished Nickel, Bronze, and Antique-Burnished Brass. This breadth of combination allows the same form to read as crisp and contemporary or warm and vintage depending on how it is specified.

The Parkington is a hardwired fixture, connecting directly to in-wall wiring via its mounting plate — no plug or cord. It accepts a standard-base bulb with a visible filament, which contributes significantly to the ambient character of the light. The lamp head includes a mechanical tilt joint, allowing the shade angle to be adjusted after installation. The integrated toggle switch on the wall plate provides local on/off control independently of any wall switch. For bedside placement, the manufacturer recommends positioning the top of the sconce approximately 140–152 cm from the floor, ensuring the switch is reachable from a seated position.
