The Visual Comfort Cristol Tiered Chandelier is designed by AERIN Lauder and part of Visual Comfort's curated decorative collection. Seven spherical hand-blown strié glass globes — strié referring to the subtle swirled horizontal texture worked into the glass during blowing — are arranged in a descending tiered formation: four at the top, two in the middle, one at the base. The result is a sculptural, volumetric silhouette with the organic quality of a grape cluster. Each globe is supported by a curved metal arm from a central hub, with delicate clear glass collar accents at the rod joints lending a jewellery-like precision to the suspension system.
The Cristol is available in two finishes — Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel — and in Medium and Large sizes, allowing it to be scaled appropriately whether the room calls for presence or restraint. The hand-rubbed brass finish carries old-world warmth; the polished nickel reads cooler and more contemporary. Both work well in Spainn interiors where stone, plaster, and natural materials are common companions.
The Cristol is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces such as dining rooms, entrance halls, living rooms, and principal bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
