FAQs

Does the Avery sconce need to be hardwired?

Yes. The Avery is designed for hardwired installation — it connects directly to your wall electrics via a circular backplate with no external cord. An electrician will be needed to install it.

What finishes is the Avery available in?

The Avery is available in two finishes: Plaster White and Antique Gold Leaf. Both share the same sculptural botanical form; the finish choice shifts the mood from calm and contemporary to warm and curated.

Is a bulb included with the Avery sconce?

A bulb is not included as standard, but an optional LED bulb can be added at the point of ordering. The fitting takes a single bulb. We recommend specifying the LED option for efficiency and long lamp life.

What is the IP rating, and where can the Avery be installed?

The Avery is rated IP20, which means it is suitable for dry interior spaces only — living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and dining areas. It is not suitable for bathrooms or any damp or outdoor locations.

How far apart should multiple Avery sconces be spaced?

A minimum of 8 to 10 feet between fixtures is recommended when installing multiples along a hallway, dining room, or living space. This gives each light enough spread to contribute to the overall ambience without overcrowding the wall.
