The Visual Comfort Antigua Pendant, designed by Chapman & Myers, answers those concerns with intention. The three-tiered, pagoda-influenced silhouette is constructed from natural fibre rope wound vertically around a rigid frame, creating a dense linear texture with a clean geometric structure. The internal socket diffuses light through the rope, producing a warm, layered ambience rather than a hard downward beam. Hardware throughout — ceiling canopy, suspension chain, and socket housing — is finished in a brushed gold-toned metal that sits in deliberate contrast to the organic quality of the rope.

The Antigua's design language sits at the intersection of artisanal texture and architectural precision. The vertical rope application creates a rhythmic visual pattern that emphasises the fixture's height and tier transitions, making it equally at home above a dining table, in a hallway, or as a focal point in a bedroom or living space.

The fixture is rated IP20, suitable for dry interior locations. It is suspended by a link chain from a circular ceiling canopy, and chain length can be adjusted at installation to achieve the correct hanging height for your ceiling. A lamped socket is housed centrally within the shade; lamp type and driver requirements should be confirmed at specification stage. This pendant is intended for interior use only.
