Sikrea Ledy Pendant Light

One of the most common mistakes with statement pendants is choosing form over function — picking a striking fixture without considering how it distributes light, whether it works in multiples, or how adjustable it is once installed. With a piece this architectural, those details matter.

Ambient pendant lighting at this scale works by diffusing and filtering light rather than directing it. The perforated shade scatters light through its pattern, casting intricate shadow textures across surrounding surfaces and ceilings — an effect that shifts throughout the day as natural light changes. The upward-facing central light source adds a soft uplighting component, reinforcing the sense of atmosphere rather than task illumination.

The Sikrea Ledy Pendant Light is a large-format, ceiling-suspended decorative pendant from Italian manufacturer Sikrea's Ledy collection. Its circular shade features a complex perforated geometric mesh with a sculpted, wave-like outer edge — giving it a distinctly architectural and almost organic quality. A gold-toned cylindrical central housing provides a deliberate high-contrast focal point against the primary shade. The fixture is suspended via four aircraft-grade tension cables alongside a copper-toned electrical cord that doubles as a visual accent. IP20 rated, it is suited to interior dry spaces.

The Ledy's tiltable plate is one of its most practical design features — it can be angled in any direction after installation, allowing fine-tuning of light distribution and visual orientation without tools. This also makes it highly effective in grouped compositions, where multiple pendants can be arranged and individually adjusted to create dynamic, layered installations. The shade is available in Matt White and Matt Black finishes, each offering a different character: Matt Black amplifies the contrast with the gold centre element, while Matt White creates a softer, more diffused aesthetic.

The Ledy is rated IP20, meaning it is designed for interior dry areas only — not suitable for bathrooms, covered outdoor terraces, or high-humidity spaces. Lamp and driver details should be confirmed at point of specification; please contact us for current compatibility guidance and installation requirements.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work through the specification detail so you do not have to — confirming driver compatibility, advising on grouping configurations, and coordinating delivery to keep your project on schedule. The Ledy is the kind of considered, design-forward piece that rewards proper specification, and we are here to make sure it lands exactly as intended.
