If dimming is a priority, the dimmer switch and the lamp need to be matched — the fitting itself is compatible when used with appropriate dimmable E27 bulbs.

The Quintiesse Hadrian 2-Light Flush Ceiling Light is a surface-mounted fitting rated IP44, making it suitable for bathroom ceiling use as well as general interior spaces. Quintiesse's Hadrian range brings a retro-industrial character — a tiered steel frame with short vertical spacers creating a distinctive caged profile — paired with a slim one-piece glass shade that keeps the silhouette low and considered. It accepts 2 × E27 lamps up to 40W, or LED equivalents, giving flexibility on light output and running cost. Lamps are not included.

The design sits confidently between traditional and contemporary — the kind of fitting that works in a period bathroom without looking pastiche, and in a modern space without feeling cold. The frame is available in four finishes: Oil Rubbed Bronze, Chrome, Brushed Bronze, and Antique Nickel. As a surface-mounted flush fitting, installation is straightforward — no recess required. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling rose.
