The Quintiesse Alford Place Chain Lantern answers this with a precision die-cast metal frame, a fully sealed glass roof, and clear glass panels on all sides and roof sections — delivering light upwards, outwards, and downwards simultaneously. The internal candelabra cluster of three candle-style lamps adds warmth and character without compromising the clean, geometric silhouette. It is available in two sizes — Small and Large — so scale can be matched to the architecture rather than compromised by it.

The design sits at the intersection of traditional lantern form and contemporary restraint: a trapezoidal body, pyramidal glass roof, and a matte black die-cast frame that reads as both classic and current. The square pyramidal ceiling canopy and black metal chain complete the composition, and the chain suspension allows hanging height to be adjusted between 610mm and 2,167mm to suit ceiling heights from intimate to double-height.
