Is the Poma suitable for use on an uncovered terrace or in a coastal environment?
Yes. The Poma carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and water splashing from any direction. The metal structure has also been specifically reinforced against corrosion, making it a sound choice for coastal settings where salt air is a factor.

Does the Poma come with a bulb?
No, the lamp bulb is not included. The Poma requires one E27 LED lamp — this is the standard screw-fit cap found on most domestic bulbs. We can advise on a suitable LED source in the right colour temperature and output level to suit your space.

What is the shade made from, and is it genuinely weather-resistant?
The shade is handbraided using cord made from recycled plastic bottles — 115 metres per shade — woven over a metal structure. The materials and construction have been adapted for outdoor use, with corrosion protection applied to the metal elements. The shade is Ø45 cm and uses a zigzag weave technique.

What colours are available?

What does the tripod base look like, and what is it made from?
The tripod base has three slender, tapering legs with a natural wood-grain effect in a light oak tone. Despite the appearance, the base is constructed from metal, which gives it the structural durability needed for outdoor use.
