Ole Lighting Pepo Pendant

Getting focused light exactly where you need it — without committing to a fixed position — is one of those challenges that catches people off guard. A single pendant drops light in one place. Track lighting means extra wiring. The Pepo offers a different answer: two independently adjustable spotlights from a single ceiling connection.

The system works via swag-style cable routing: small ceiling hooks allow the cables to be draped and repositioned across the ceiling plane, effectively letting you place each light head at a different point in the room. Each cylindrical spotlight head also pivots left, right, and up and down with bare hands — no tools, no friction mechanisms to wear out — so you can redirect the beam whenever your needs change. This kind of directional flexibility is sometimes called "aiming adjustment," and here it is genuinely hands-on and immediate.

The Ole Lighting Pepo is a dual-spotlight pendant system by Spanish brand Ole Lighting. It won the German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design category — recognition that reflects both its considered form and its functional intelligence. The fixture takes two GU10 LED lamps (not included), making lamp choice — and therefore colour temperature and beam angle — entirely within your control at specification or at home.

The Pepo is constructed in metal throughout, with a slim, elongated cylindrical form for each spotlight head and a low-profile circular canopy at the ceiling. The version shown uses a consistent matte black finish across canopy, cables, and light heads, creating a sculptural, graphic quality in the space. The minimal geometry means it reads as an installation element as much as a light fitting.

Two GU10 LED lamps are required but not supplied — allowing you to select the output, colour temperature, and beam spread best suited to your space. No driver or transformer is required; GU10 lamps run directly from mains voltage. The swag cable hooks are included and integral to the system. The Pepo carries a 3-year warranty.
