The Ole Lighting Drum Pendant is a ceiling-mounted suspension light with a tapered drum shade handbraided from cord made entirely from recycled plastic bottles — 190 metres of it per shade. The shade is built around an internal metal frame and suspended via a single cable from a clean circular white metal canopy. Light passes through the cord weave to produce a layered effect: focused output below, ambient warmth around the sides. The product carries a 3-year warranty and is designed and manufactured in Spain.

The Drum's form is grounded in references to ethnic instruments and textile traditions, giving it an organic, artisanal quality that works in residential living rooms, restaurants, boutique hotels, and creative workspaces. The vertical cord ribbing creates a strong linear rhythm around the shade's circumference. Available in Small, Medium, and Large, and offered in 14 colours including Mustard, Stone, White, Blue, Beige, Olive, Silver, Dark Green, Grey, Terracotta, Mocha, Black, Maroon, and Cognac — so it can anchor a space or complement an existing palette with equal ease.

The pendant requires one E27 LED lamp, which is not included. E27 is the most widely available lamp format, giving you full flexibility over wattage, colour temperature (warm white through to neutral), and dimming capability — provided you pair it with a dimmable LED lamp and a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer. No external driver is required. Installation follows standard pendant suspension practice via the ceiling canopy. Some models in the wider Drum collection include a matt opal PMMA diffuser to soften the light output further.
