FAQs

Is a bulb included with the Bimba pendant?
No — the Bimba requires one E27 lamp, sold separately. Because the bulb sits visibly within the open cage, a decorative LED (filament or globe style) is strongly recommended. A plain utility bulb will undermine the design intention.

What cord colours are available?
The Bimba cord can be specified in one or two colours. Contact us to confirm current colour options and help you choose a combination that suits your interior.

Can the Bimba be used as a floor lamp as well as a pendant?
Yes — the fitting includes a plug connector and is designed with floor lamp use in mind. At 130 cm total length, it has the presence to work as a freestanding statement piece as well as a suspended one.

How much cord is supplied, and can the drop length be adjusted?
The Bimba comes with 85 metres of cord in total, giving considerable flexibility for routing and drop adjustment. This makes it well suited to installations in spaces with high or irregular ceilings.

Does this fitting require a driver or transformer?
No driver or transformer is needed. The Bimba takes a standard E27 screw-fit lamp and connects directly via its plug connector, keeping installation straightforward.
