The Ole Lighting Bimba Pendant is a sculptural suspension light from Spanish brand Ole Lighting. Its wide, flattened biconical wireframe shade — finished in matte black — creates an airy, geometric form that casts intricate shadow patterns when lit. The four-point suspension system keeps the wide, lightweight frame balanced and level. The cord, handbraided from yarn made from recycled plastic bottles, adds a tactile, craft quality that sits well in both residential and hospitality interiors.

The Bimba is available in two sizes — Small and Large — allowing it to scale from intimate dining settings to larger feature installations. The cord colouring is a defining choice: you can select one or two colours to customise the braided pattern, giving each installation a degree of individuality within the same family. The matte black metal structure provides a grounding contrast to the braided texture.

The fixture is suspended on 22 metres of cord, giving considerable flexibility for ceiling height and drop adjustment. A single E27 lamp holder is fitted centrally — the bulb is not included, which gives you full control over warmth, output, and aesthetics. No driver or transformer is required; E27 is a standard screw-fit Edison base compatible with the majority of dimmable LED bulbs. Check your dimmer switch compatibility with the specific LED bulb you choose, as not all LED bulbs are compatible with all phase-cut dimmers (the most common domestic dimmer type).
