Thin wood veneer strips are joined using a visible hemstitch technique drawn from traditional textile craft, a seam that is purely functional in daylight and distinctly decorative when the lamp is lit from within. The shade is suspended via a thin ceiling cable and canopy, suitable for interior use at IP20 — appropriate for dry, sheltered environments.

The Stitches Bamako is available in five wood veneer finishes: Ivory White, Yellow, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue — each allowing the natural grain and texture of the veneer to remain visible beneath the colour. The Sea Blue finish in particular gives the lamp a presence that reads both contemporary and elemental, while the softer Ivory White and Pale Rose options sit comfortably in warmer residential schemes.

The Stitches Bamako carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior environments only — not for use in bathrooms or exposed outdoor areas.
