Inspired by the Möbius strip — a mathematical surface with one continuous side — the shade is built from stacked horizontal bands of flexible wood veneer arranged in a rhythmic, tiered configuration. The overlapping ribbons create a wave-like texture and allow light to escape through the fine gaps between layers, producing a warm, layered glow around the fixture as well as downward illumination. The slender, vertically oriented cylinder distinguishes it clearly from conventional drum pendants, giving it a presence that reads as both organic and architectural.
The Link is available in three sizes — small, large, and modular — allowing it to work across a range of ceiling heights and spatial scales. Finish options are Natural Beech, Natural Cherry, and Ivory White, each bringing a different quality to the ambient light the shade produces: warmer tones from the natural timbers, a cooler clarity from the white. Metal components form the internal structural frame and suspension cables, providing the engineering backbone behind the organic exterior.
The Link Pendant carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior spaces. It is not rated for bathroom zones or areas exposed to moisture. Lamp and driver requirements should be confirmed at specification stage to ensure compatibility with your dimming system and ceiling void constraints — particularly relevant for the modular configuration. The suspension cables connect to the top of the internal frame; ceiling rose and canopy details should be reviewed for your specific installation.
