Designed by Ray Power for LZF — Spain's foremost handcrafted wood veneer lighting studio — Escape is built around an interlocking cluster of flat rectangular veneer slats with rounded corners, arranged in a deliberately deconstructed, airy volume. The slats overlap and intersect to completely obscure the light source, producing soft, indirect ambient light with a rich play of shadow and depth. Despite the complexity of its form, a single thin suspension cable keeps the overall impression light and composed.

Escape is available in ten veneer finishes — Sea Blue, Pale Rose, Grey, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Natural Beech, Natural Cherry, and Ivory White — with canopy options in Matt White or Nickel. With 30 variants in total, there is a combination suited to almost any interior palette, from considered neutral schemes to rooms that can carry a more assertive colour statement.

Escape carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior spaces.
