What does IP67 mean and why does it matter for a garden spotlight?
IP67 means the fixture is rated for temporary full submersion in water — so heavy rain, standing water, or garden irrigation will not cause damage. For a ground spike spotlight planted in a border, this is the minimum rating worth specifying.

Is a transformer or driver required, and is one included?
The SCOPE is part of the In-Lite low-voltage system and requires a compatible In-Lite transformer, which is not included. You will need to confirm your transformer capacity covers the total wattage of all luminaires connected to the same system.

Can the SCOPE be mounted on a fence or wall rather than spiked into the ground?
Yes. The fixture is supplied with both a ground stake and a bracket, making it suitable for surface mounting on fences or overhangs as well as direct soil installation.

What is the cable length on the SCOPE, and what connection system does it use?
The SCOPE has a 60 cm cable and is supplied with an EASY-LOCK connector as standard — In-Lite's tool-free connection system designed for clean, reliable integration into their low-voltage network.

Is the SCOPE suitable for illuminating mature trees?
The SCOPE is designed for low planting schemes — shrubs, border plants, and trees up to approximately three metres. For taller specimens, a higher-output fixture with a narrower beam angle would be more appropriate.
