Garden lighting along borders and pathways often ends up either too static or too theatrical — a row of identical fixtures glowing at the same intensity, night after night, with none of the life a real garden deserves after dark. What makes the difference here is how light behaves over time. A continuous COB LED strip — short for Chip On Board, meaning many tiny LED chips mounted directly onto a circuit board to produce seamless, uninterrupted light — delivers a clean 360° glow at a high CRI of 95 (a measure of how accurately colours are rendered; 95 is excellent). And with In-Lite's Breathe technology, each fixture independently fades in and out on its own natural rhythm, so no two bollards pulse in unison. The effect is subtle: a six-second fade in, a brief hold, a six-second fade out. It reads as movement, not distraction.

The In-Lite BREEZE Outdoor Bollard Light brings this behaviour together in a remarkably slender, needle-like metal form with a matte black finish and a frosted diffuser tip. In-Lite is a Dutch brand with a strong track record in low-voltage garden lighting systems, and the BREEZE reflects that engineering discipline — precise light output, IP55 weather protection (suitable for rain and dust exposure in outdoor garden settings), and a 95 CRI light source that does justice to planting and paving alike.

The design is intentionally unobtrusive. The high height-to-diameter ratio means BREEZE disappears into a border during the day and becomes part of the garden's atmosphere after dark — not a focal point, but a presence. BREEZE is available in two heights: Low (60 cm), suited to ground-level borders and low ornamental grasses, and High (100 cm), better suited to taller shrubs and defined pathway edges.
