Hinkley Collier Five-Light Chandelier

Choosing a statement chandelier for a large interior or open-plan space carries real risk: get the drop length wrong and it overwhelms the room; get the light quality wrong and the whole mood falls flat. With a fixture this considered, it pays to specify carefully from the start.

For pendants and chandeliers, the two decisions that matter most beyond aesthetics are hanging height and lamp choice. Drop length affects both proportion and perceived brightness, while the lamp you choose — its colour temperature, output, and dimming compatibility — determines whether the fixture delivers warmth and ambience or just overhead glare. E27 is a standard Edison screw fitting, widely available in a broad range of filament-style and LED options.

The Hinkley Collier Five-Light Chandelier is a mid-century design with genuine longevity. Five cylindrical seeded glass shades — clear glass with small internal air bubbles that scatter and texture the light beautifully — sit on a circular open-frame steel ring, joined by cast knobs and hinged stems that give the piece its quietly industrial character. A central frosted glass diffuser bowl adds a second layer of light, softening the glow downward from the heart of the fixture. The result is both ambient and atmospheric in equal measure.

The Collier is available in two finishes: Heritage Brass and Black Oxide. The brass finish reinforces the mid-century warmth of the seeded glass; the Black Oxide reads as more contemporary and pairs well with darker, more graphic interiors. The fixture measures 685mm in diameter with a standard height of 779mm. Minimum drop is 932mm, with maximum drop options of 2046mm or 2406mm depending on variant — making it well suited to double-height spaces or rooms with generous ceiling height.

The Collier takes five E27 lamps, which are not included. The fixture is compatible with dimmable lamps, so pairing it with dimmable LED filament bulbs gives you full control over the mood without compromising the vintage aesthetic. No driver or transformer is required — standard mains voltage wiring applies. Hanging height is adjusted via the supplied chain, with installation making use of the round matching ceiling canopy. A 2-year manufacturer guarantee is provided as standard.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you get this kind of decision right before anything is ordered. That means confirming ceiling height and drop requirements, recommending the right E27 lamp for the finish and ambience you want, and making sure the dimmer on your circuit is compatible with your chosen bulbs. It is the kind of detail that makes a real difference — and the kind of support we build into every project, whether you are specifying one fixture or an entire villa.
