Elstead Taulbee Chandelier

Choosing a statement chandelier for a residential interior is rarely just about aesthetics. The real risk is selecting something that looks right in a product photograph but feels disconnected once installed — either too fussy, too flat, or simply at odds with the materials already in the room.

For spaces with natural, organic textures — timber, stone, linen — a chandelier needs to earn its place by referencing those materials rather than competing with them. The combination of wood and metal, done well, brings warmth without weight and structure without coldness.

The Elstead Taulbee Chandelier answers that challenge directly. Part of Elstead's Taulbee collection, this six-light chandelier pairs a circular frame wrapped in weathered grey wood veneer with dark, mottled weathered zinc metalwork across the support rods, canopy, chain, and candle sleeves. Decorative interior scrollwork adds an ornamental, lodge-inspired detail that rewards a closer look. It is rated IP20, making it suitable for standard interior living spaces.

The open-frame design — six upward-facing candlestick sockets, no shades — is intended for use with decorative flame-shaped bulbs, allowing both maximum ambient light output and full visibility of the bulb form as part of the aesthetic. Hanging height can be adjusted during installation via the link chain suspension.

As a lamped fitting, bulb choice will directly influence the quality and warmth of light in the room. Selecting the right lamp — colour temperature, lumen output, and dimmer compatibility — is worth a conversation before you order. This is exactly where we can help.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products like the Taulbee chandelier as part of a specification process, not just a product transaction. That means helping you confirm the right bulb, the right dimmer pairing, and the right hanging height for your ceiling — so what arrives on site performs exactly as intended.
