Brick In The Wall Pixo Bathroom Downlight

One of the most common frustrations in bathroom lighting specification is the visible bezel — that ring of trim sitting proud of the ceiling, breaking the plaster line and undermining an otherwise seamless interior. When the brief calls for a truly integrated ceiling, standard downlights simply don't deliver.

Trimless downlights solve this by allowing the fixture to be set into the ceiling structure and plastered flush, so the fitting disappears into the surface. The result is a clean aperture with no visible flange or frame — just light emerging from the ceiling plane. IP54 is the rating to look for in bathroom zones where splash protection is required: it means the fitting is sealed against dust ingress and protected against water splashing from any direction.

The Brick In The Wall Pixo Bathroom Downlight is built precisely for this kind of specification. Its square outer form transitions to a circular recessed aperture — a geometric detail that reads quietly sophisticated once installed. The plaster or ceramic housing can be painted to match the surrounding ceiling, making the fixture effectively invisible until lit. With a CRI of 92 — where 100 represents natural daylight and anything above 90 is considered excellent for colour accuracy — skin tones, tiles, and materials read true under its light.

The Pixo's matte white finish and uniform surface treatment are designed to accept paint, grout, or skim plaster without compromising the housing integrity. The deep, sloped internal cavity positions the lamp set back from the aperture, reducing glare at eye level — a detail that matters in bathrooms where reflective surfaces can amplify harsh light sources.

Installation requires plastering-in to the ceiling structure; this is not a surface-mounted or clip-in fitting. Confirm lamp type, driver requirements, and dimming compatibility with your lighting designer or electrician prior to installation, as the trimless process means access after the fact is considerably more involved. IP54 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones where protection from water splashing is required — verify zone compliance with your installer against current wiring regulations.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we support specifications like this from product selection through to install confidence — helping you avoid the cost and disruption of a misspecified fitting that only reveals itself once the ceiling is skimmed. The Pixo is the kind of considered choice that rewards a careful brief: right product, right zone rating, right finish — delivered with the coordination to keep your project on track.
