The A-Emotional Light Pili Pendant is a decorative ceiling pendant designed by Arturo Álvarez. A single painted stainless steel thread is interwoven to build an irregular, roughly spherical form — open and airy, yet visually dense. The internal light source sits at the core of this filament mass, radiating outward through the gaps to create a soft ambient glow with intricate shadow patterns on surrounding surfaces. The varying density of the thread means light appears warmest and most intense at the centre, softening toward the wispy outer edges.

The Pili's aesthetic is deliberately organic — closer to a sculptural cloud or three-dimensional sketch than a conventional shade. Its structure relies on the collective tension of the interwoven filaments rather than a rigid frame, giving it a tactile, handcrafted quality. The monochromatic white finish and single slender suspension cord keep the composition clean.
