A-Emotional Light Gea Wall Light

For ambient wall lighting, what matters most is how light behaves in the space — not just how bright it is. The fluted mesh shade acts as a diffuser, softening lateral output and letting the internal glow read through the texture of the material.

The A-Emotional Light Gea Wall Light is part of the Gea collection by Spanish designer Arturo Álvarez — a range that earned a Good Design Award in 2007. The wall light shares the collection's signature form: a vertically oriented, gently bowed cylindrical body wrapped in fine painted stainless steel mesh, held in place by a zip detail. Open apertures at top and bottom project light upward and downward, washing the wall in warm, enveloping ambient light while the mesh glows softly from within.

The Gea wall light is available in four finish options — White, Beige, Grey, and Taupe — allowing it to sit quietly within a neutral scheme or introduce a considered tonal contrast. The sculptural silhouette means it reads as an object in its own right, not simply a light fitting.

The Gea range also includes pendant and floor lamp variants under the same design language. Specific lamp type, driver requirements, and electrical details should be confirmed at point of specification — particularly for the LED variant (ref. GE06-LD). Mounting is flush to the wall surface.
