Cambo uses real beech wood finished with a water-based varnish — a treatment that lets the grain speak rather than masking it. The branching, Y-shaped stem is not decorative appliqué; it is the structural logic of the fitting, referencing the bifurcation patterns found in tree growth. The conical lampshade houses an integrated LED source (no separate lamp or driver sourcing required) and is wrapped in a painted stainless steel mesh perforated to cast textured light patterns onto surrounding surfaces.

The A-Emotional Light Cambo Pendant is a collaborative design between Spanish lighting brand A-Emotional Light and the cenlitrosmetrocadrado studio — led by designers Ricardo Tubío and Xabier Rilo. The name Cambo is drawn from Galician tradition, referencing a handcrafted wooden hook, and that craft sensibility is embedded throughout the fitting. It carries an IP20 rating, making it suited to dry interior environments such as dining rooms, living areas, entrance halls, and boutique hospitality settings.

The asymmetrical branch extends below the lower rim of the shade, reinforcing the organic, artistic character of the piece. The high-contrast pairing of warm wood tones with a matte shade is available in two colourways: White or Black — each shifting the mood of the fitting from airy and Scandinavian-adjacent to grounded and dramatic respectively.

The integrated LED source removes the lamp-selection variable from the specification equation. The fitting is suspended via a thin black cable from a square black ceiling canopy. As an IP20 rated product, installation should be in a dry zone only — not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas exposed to moisture. Confirm ceiling height and cable drop requirements during the specification stage to ensure the branching structure reads correctly within the room proportion.
