The Project
Michael McKervey, Fresh Interiors said: ‘The Harp Bar’ in Belfast Cathedral Quarter has proved to be a very successful project for our clients. Having designed the premises 5 years ago we were again commissioned to design the Extension (Phase 2 so to speak) which opened its doors at the weekend.

The Lighting
The Harp Bar, incorporating the Dunville and Swinging Diddy Lounges is decorated in plush red velvet fabrics and adorned with antique furnishings resonant with Victorian Belfast. Walls and cabinets feature rare memorabilia inspired by the building’s origins as a bonded warehouse – the headquarters of The Old Bushmills Distillery Company.

The mix of antique, ornate and modern lighting really plays a part in bringing uniquely crafted interiors to life. We worked with Michael McKervey from Fresh Interiors, Kieran Glackin, K Glackin Electrics, McCue Crafted Fit and the client in bringing this vision to life. It was a real privilege”.
