Terre d’Italia is a shop in the heart of St Helier, where they sell Italian food and wine. Their vision is to share with its customers the love of the finest produce Italy has to offer.
The Lighting
For any retail store, when it comes to selecting the right light, we factor both the aesthetics of the luminaire and the quality of the lamp. As for the recently opened Terre d’Italia Wine Shop, Jersey, the importance of creating an inviting space, but crucially, the perfect lighting to allow the owners to sell their wine products was of great importance.
Lightsource Studio worked with its interior design clients to produce a lighting scheme, that would both create an inviting space with decorative lighting, and a track system that would show the wine and associated products in the best light. The shop is used as an event space also, so product demonstrations were equally important.
It is great to get feedback from both our interior design client and shop owners that the Rowan pendants are being commented upon, with a nice nod to the types of glass bottles used for their wine. We wish the team at Terre d’Italia Wine Shop all the very best. It’s making us very thirsty.
