The Project
Lightsource Studio is delighted to present the second phase of the Ormeau Baths co-working space. The first of these phases was completed back in 2018 and can be found in our portfolio. The second phase of development of this beautiful Grade B1 listed building has allowed more businesses, across multiple sectors, to both start and grow. The modern and comfortable aesthetic in every area of the space makes this co-working environment highly successful.
The Lighting
Lightsource Studio worked in collaboration with Terry Design & Host Design to create this open, bright and inspiring space. The lighting scheme has been tailored to compliment the huge amount of natural light available in the building, with tasteful additions from brands such as Spanish favourites, Marset and Italian trend setters, Luce Plan. Layers of light have been used extensively throughout all spaces in the building. A great source of general light is provided by simple track lighting with powerful spotlights. Floor and table lamps are spaced appropriately to provide ambience and focal points in many of the areas. Large wall lights have been installed on all of the sizeable wall spaces to ensure the overall aesthetic and atmosphere remains bright.
