The Project
Banana Block is a new living museum and events space set within a historic linen mill and inspired by the curious connections between Belfast and bananas. Peel the banana a little further and you’ll find a space for original ideas, creative learning and new connections. A space for celebrating eccentric histories and creating incredible futures in Belfast.
The Lighting
The Hunter track fittings from Intra Lighting have been used extensively throughout Banana Block. Selected due to their output and efficiency performance. Specialist grow-light versions have been implemented over the planters that encompass the main seating area. Lona ceiling fittings have been used in certain areas to add additional high quality general lighting. The Tour pendant from Linea Light hangs proudly in the main entrance, adding decorative and functional value.
