Can the Silas pendant be used in a room with a low ceiling?
Yes. The suspension rods can be removed entirely, converting the fixture to a semi-flush mount that sits much closer to the ceiling. This makes it a practical choice even where ceiling height is limited.

Are lamps included with the Silas pendant?
No, lamps are not included. The fixture has eight lamp sockets, and filament-style Edison bulbs suit the industrial aesthetic well. Check the socket type before purchasing bulbs — we can advise if you are unsure.

Does the Silas require a driver or transformer?
No. This is a standard lamped pendant — it runs directly from your mains supply without a separate driver or transformer. Just ensure your ceiling rose and circuit are rated for the combined wattage of eight bulbs.

Can the hanging height be adjusted?
Yes. The central downrod length can be adjusted during installation, giving you control over how low the fixture hangs. This is worth considering early in the project, particularly in rooms with beams or architectural features above.

What is the finish combination on the Silas?
The primary ring structure is finished in Aged Zinc — a dark, matte industrial tone. The lamp fitters and accent details are in Heritage Brass, a warm gold finish. The two-tone combination is a key part of the design's character.
