What does the IP64 rating mean for this fitting?
IP64 means the Poma is fully dust-tight and protected against water splashing from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered terraces, pergolas, and sheltered exterior walls — a solid specification for Mallorca's coastal and humid outdoor environments.

Is a bulb included with the Poma?
No — the Poma requires one E27 LED lamp, which is not included. E27 is the standard large-screw cap fitting, widely available in LED format. We recommend a warm white LED at 2700–3000K for the most flattering exterior ambience.

Does this fitting need a driver or transformer?
No driver or transformer is required. The Poma takes a standard E27 mains-voltage lamp, so it connects directly to your electrical supply without any additional control gear.

Can the Poma be used indoors as well?
Yes — the product is specified for both indoor and outdoor use. Its IP64 rating means it exceeds typical indoor requirements, so it can be used freely in interior spaces, bathrooms, or covered outdoor areas.

Is the woven cord genuinely weatherproof, or is this an indoor design adapted for outside?
The Poma has been purpose-adapted for exterior use. The cord and metalwork have been reinforced for corrosion resistance specifically to suit aggressive outdoor environments — it is not simply an indoor fitting re-badged for outside.
