Can the Poma floor lamp be used outdoors?
Yes. The Poma is IP64-rated, meaning it is protected against dust and splashing water from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor spaces such as terraces, pergolas, and porches — including coastal environments where salt air and humidity are a factor.

Is a bulb included with the Poma?
No, a bulb is not included. The Poma uses a single E27 lamp — the standard large-screw fitting found in most homes. We recommend a warm white LED (2700K–3000K) to complement the natural cord tones of the shade.

Does the Poma require a driver or transformer?
No driver or transformer is needed. The Poma is a standard mains-voltage floor lamp. Simply fit an E27 LED bulb and plug in using the integrated black power cord.

What is the shade made from, and how is it constructed?
The shade is handbraided from cord made from recycled plastic bottles — approximately 115 metres per lamp — woven using a zigzag technique over a reinforced metallic internal frame. This construction gives the shade its structural rigidity and its resistance to humidity and corrosion.

What warranty does the Poma carry?
Ole Lighting provides a 3-year manufacturer's warranty on the Poma, giving you confidence when specifying it for residential or hospitality projects.
