Is the Lucide Xera dimmable?
Yes — the Xera is compatible with most standard dimmers. It uses a G9 lamp socket, so you'll want to confirm your dimmer is rated for the lamp type you choose (LED or halogen). A leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer suitable for G9 LED lamps is the safest specification choice.

Does the Xera come with a bulb?
No, the G9 lamp is not included. This gives you flexibility to choose the colour temperature and output level that suits your space — a brighter lamp for a hallway, or a warmer, lower-output option for bedside or living room ambience.

Can I use an LED lamp in the G9 socket?
Yes. The G9 socket accepts both LED and halogen lamps. LED is recommended for energy efficiency and longer lamp life. Just ensure the LED lamp is dimmable if you intend to use it with a dimmer switch.

What is the IP rating, and where can the Xera be installed?
The Xera carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for dry interior locations only — living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or any zone where moisture or water spray is present.

How does the Xera mount to the wall?
The Xera is hardwired directly into the wall and controlled via an external wall switch or dimmer. Installation materials are included in the box. It should be installed by a qualified electrician.
