FAQs

What does KILLFLASH mean and why does it matter?
KILLFLASH is In-Lite's term for a built-in internal louvre fitted inside each light head. It shields the LED from direct view, eliminating glare at ground level without reducing the useful light output onto your planting or path. It is a permanent part of the fixture and cannot be removed.

Can I adjust the beam direction after installation?
Yes — each light head rotates a full 360° and can be tilted to point in any direction. This means you can fine-tune exactly where the light falls after the pole is in the ground, which is particularly useful when planting arrangements change over time.

What heights are available for the Aim Duo?
The Aim Duo is available in three heights: High (80 cm), Low (40 cm), and Extra Low (16 cm). Mixing heights across a planting scheme creates a natural, tiered lighting effect.

Does the Aim Duo need a separate transformer or driver?
Yes. The In-Lite Aim system operates on low voltage and requires a compatible In-Lite transformer, which is not included with the fixture. If you're planning multiple units, we recommend calculating total wattage load before selecting transformer capacity — we can help with this during specification.

Can I expand the system if I want more light sources later?
Yes. The patented modular connection allows you to upgrade from the Aim Duo (two heads) to the Aim Triple (three heads) using the same waterproof connection point. The system is designed with expansion in mind, so your initial installation doesn't limit future options.
