FAQs

Why is an oval chandelier better suited to a rectangular dining table?
The Saldana's oval drum footprint mirrors the shape of a rectangular table, distributing light more evenly along its length than a circular chandelier of similar scale would.

How does the dual-layer shade system reduce glare?
The eight inner satin-etched opal glass cylinders act as primary diffusers, shielding each LED source from direct view. The organza outer fabric then softens and spreads the light further, producing a gentle, even glow rather than bright spots.

Is the Saldana LED integrated or does it take replaceable lamps?
The Saldana is an LED collection, suggesting an integrated light source. We recommend confirming with us at point of specification whether lamps are replaceable or fixed, as this affects long-term maintenance planning.

What warranty does the Saldana carry?
Elstead offers a 2–20 year warranty depending on the specific model. Contact Lightsource Mallorca to confirm the applicable warranty term for the Saldana at specification stage.

Does the fixed downrod affect how it's installed?
Yes — a fixed downrod means the chandelier hangs at a set, stable height rather than on a flexible cable. You'll want to confirm your ceiling height and the rod length before ordering to ensure the fixture sits at the right level for your space.
